This is the investigative story, six months in the making, that I wrote about the newest shiny object in the renewable-energy space and the hydrogen frenzy that could actually make things worse rather than better. It’s focused on the frontline communities in South Los Angeles that are at risk but it’s relevant for anyone concerned about the climate crisis and how industry avarice and outdated business models shape government policy.
